StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 2 Drivers based in Aston.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday PM - £16.00 PAYE
Monday to Friday PM - £17.93 Assignment Rate
*Please note above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*
Responsibilities:
- This will involve deliveries nationwide to high street stores or service stations.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the load is secured in a safe manner.
- 5 – 6 drops per shift on average and drivers will be responsible for manually unloading the vehicle and delivering into the stores.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start time is 16:00
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- HGV2/ LGV2 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 2 years)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
