Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Mon–Fri AM: £16.00 per hour + holiday pay
- Overtime after 10 hours per shift - £20.00 per hour
- Saturday AM: £19.00 per hour + holiday pay
- Sunday AM: £20.00 per hour + holiday pay
Shift Bonus:
- 00:30 – 02:59 start - £12.00 per shift
- 03:00 – 03:59 start - £9.50 per shift
- 04:00- 04:59 start - £4.69 per shift
- 11:00 – 15:59 start - £6.69 per shift
- 16:00 – 00:29 start - £14.28 per shift
- Saturday premium - £2.00 per shift
- Sunday premium - £4.03 per shift
StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers (HGV1 / LGV1 / CE) for our leading retail distribution client in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for newly experienced drivers – only 6 months’ experience required!
Role Overview:
- Store deliveries using tail lift – cages and totes
- Monday to Friday with optional weekend overtime
- Start times:
- AM: 00:00–03:00
- PM: 12:00–14:00
- Lates: 16:00 – 22:00
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Long-term, ongoing work
- Immediate starts available
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (LGV CE) license
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Current CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (No IN, DR, CD, or DD endorsements)
- Strong knowledge of the UK road network
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
