StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing flatbed delivery work based in St Ives. We’re looking for reliable drivers for day shifts, with consistent ongoing work available and immediate starts for the right candidates. This is a well-organised operation with a supportive transport team and paid induction provided.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
Days (Mon–Fri): £18.88ph plus holiday pay, or £21.15 including holiday pay
Overtime after 45 hours: £24.54ph
What the role involves
You’ll be completing 1–2 deliveries per shift to building merchant sites. Start times are typically between 5:00am–7:00am, with shifts averaging 10–12 hours per day and 9.5 hours guaranteed. Paid breaks are included, offering consistent hours and reliable weekly earnings.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Has previous flatbed experience preferred but not essential
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes)
