HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Sherburn in Elmet
£21.85ph – £28.00ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | 2 years’ experience required
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing work in Sherburn in Elmet. We’re looking for professional and motivated drivers for both PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.
Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday-Friday PM: £19.50ph + Holiday
- Saturday PM: £20.25ph + Holiday
- Sunday PM: £21.00ph + Holiday
- Bank Holiday: £25.00ph + Holiday
What the role involves:
PM SHIFT- Start times between 15:00-18:00, Monday to Friday, Trunking mainly but store deliveries can be required including manual unloading.
A fully paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.
Our ideal candidate:
• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 2 years.
• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
• Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Is physically fit and well-presented
