HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Middlewich
£20.73ph – £27.51ph | Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | 6 months’ experience
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing work in Middlewich. We’re looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM & PM shifts, with immediate starts available.
This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.
Weekly rota: Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday-Friday AM: £18.50ph + Holiday (£20.73 if holiday paid weekly)
- Monday-Friday PM: £19.50ph + Holiday (£21.85 if holiday paid weekly)
- Saturday and Sunday AM: £23.40ph + Holiday (£26.22 if holiday paid weekly)
- Saturday and Sunday PM: £24.55ph + Holiday (£27.51 if holiday paid weekly)
- Over time rate after 8h each day - £27.44ph
What the role involves:
PM SHIFT- Start times between 13:00-16:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
AM SHIFT- Start times between 04:00-06:00, store deliveries – manual unload required.
A fully paid 1-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.
Our ideal candidate:
• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 6 months’
• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
• Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Is physically fit and well-presented
