StaffCo Direct is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing store delivery and trunking work based in Thrapston and Islip.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular weekly work, competitive PAYE rates and the potential for full-time positions.
Pay Rates – PAYE
Monday–Friday AM: £17.45 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Monday–Friday PM: £19.20 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Monday–Friday Nights: £20.94 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Saturday–Sunday AM: £22.68 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Saturday–Sunday PM: £24.95 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Saturday–Sunday Nights: £27.22 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Overtime: Up to £40.84 per hour

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be carrying out store deliveries and trunking work.
Typically 1–3 drops per shift
Shifts generally 10–12 hours, including paid breaks
AM, afternoon and night shifts available
Start times available around the clock
Ongoing block bookings available
Before starting, you will complete a paid 1-day assessment/induction if succesful
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
Valid CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 penalty points
No IN, DR, DD or TT convictions
Good communication skills
A professional and reliable attitude
To be physically fit and well-presented
